Franco Albini Outdoor Pouf

The Franco Albini Outdoor pouffe by Sika-Design features a design by architect and designer Franco Albini. Its rounded form, curves and openwork construction give it a sculptural presence while allowing it to be paired with armchairs in an outdoor relaxation space.

A form defined by bindings

The fibre work follows the pouffe's curves and reveals the spaces between the elements of its frame. The handcrafted bindings, made by wicker artisans, highlight this regular rhythm. This construction gives the piece its relief and allows its design to be appreciated from different angles, whether at the centre of an arrangement or beside a seat.

Materials for the terrace

The frame uses Alu-Rattan, a powder-coated aluminium that resists the weather. It is covered in polyethylene ArtFibre, a synthetic fibre that withstands UV rays and outdoor conditions. This combination preserves the furniture's woven look while making it suitable for use in the garden or on a terrace. The pouffe thus adds a rounded accent among the lines of other furniture.
