Wall photography: a sensitive window onto the world

A photograph can symbolically enlarge a room, slow the gaze or awaken an unnamed memory. Landscape, architecture, urban scene, natural detail or a more contemplative composition: every image brings its own atmosphere. When choosing one, focus less on an expected theme than on the feeling you would like to experience every day.

Open the room onto a feeling

An open horizon creates a sense of breathing room, particularly welcome opposite a seating area or in a narrow walkway. A tightly framed image instead creates intense proximity and suits spaces in which people linger. Receding lines give depth, while a frontal composition visually stabilises the wall. Imagine the image from your usual position, not only when viewed up close.

Let the season guide the palette

In spring, bright tones and airy subjects extend the return of light. Summer welcomes bold contrasts and open horizons. In autumn, earthy shades envelop the furniture, while winter elegantly reveals black and white, mist and graphic architecture.
