Charlottenborg Outdoor Armchair

The Charlottenborg Outdoor armchair by Sika-Design features a design by Arne Jacobsen. Its enveloping silhouette combines continuous curves with openwork bindings to create a relaxation space on a terrace or in a garden. The seat and back cushions complete this composition of expressive lines.

Materials suited to outdoor use

The frame in Alu-Rattan, a powder-coated aluminium, is paired with polyethylene ArtFibre. These materials are weather-resistant, and the fibres withstand exposure to UV rays. The seat and backrest bindings are handcrafted by wicker artisans on the aluminium frame, preserving the design's distinctive relief.

A seat designed for easier drying

The armchair incorporates Quick Dry Foam designed for outdoor use. Its structure promotes water drainage and air circulation to speed up drying. The textile elements are made in the manufacturer's Danish sewing workshop. Together, they create an outdoor relaxation corner where the comfort of the cushions complements the sculptural character of the frame.
