Rossini Dining Chair

A slender silhouette for dining

The Rossini dining chair by Sika-Design was designed in 1993 by Knud Andreasen and Yamakawa. Part of the Originals collection, it is made for shared moments around the table. Its armless form distinguishes it from the Rossini armchair and leaves the sides of the seat open.

The frame, seat and backrest are made from handcrafted natural rattan. This consistent use of material gives the silhouette a cohesive look, while the tall, slender backrest accentuates its design. In a dining room or a dining area opening onto the living room, its weave adds visible texture without the need for additional decoration.

From the living room to the covered terrace

Rossini is intended for indoor or covered outdoor use only. In a sheltered setting, it extends the atmosphere of the dining room outdoors, provided it is protected from rain. Water can affect the durability of rattan over time.
