Rossini Rattan Armchair

A design from 1993, created for dining

The Rossini armchair by Sika-Design was created in 1993 through a collaboration between Knud Andreasen and Yamakawa. Part of the collection ever since, this model belongs to the Originals range. Its tall, slender backrest and armrests give it a distinctive presence around a table, setting it apart from a low lounge chair.

Handcrafted from lacquered natural rattan, it highlights the curves of its frame and the handwork of its joints. The armrests frame the seat and provide support while dining. Its light weight makes it easy to move when rearranging the room or entertaining guests.

Easy storage, a sheltered setting

Its stackable design allows the armchairs to be grouped together to free up space. Rossini is suitable for indoor or covered outdoor use only. It must remain protected from rain: exposing rattan to water can affect its durability over time.
