In addition to its seat, the Machiya model features a practical storage shelf beneath the top. The rattan is shaped by hand by skilled wicker artisans and steam-treated to increase its flexibility during production. This design combines natural aesthetics, traditional craftsmanship and discreetly integrated storage.
