Mey walnut sideboard

A sideboard inspired by jewelry boxes

The Mey sideboard draws on the concept of a traditional sideboard while incorporating the function of a drinks cabinet. Designed by Ümit Caglar for Wewood, it is inspired by antique jewelry boxes, conceived as simple, refined containers for precious objects. Its walnut construction gives it the brown tone clearly specified in its features.

The piece includes a black metal top for preparing drinks and appetizers directly on the sideboard. With dimensions of 145,8 x 45 x 80 cm, it offers a layout suited to both storage and preparation. The contrast between the walnut and black metal highlights the furniture's different functions. Mey thus brings together storage space, a drinks cabinet and a preparation surface in one cohesive design.
