A nature-inspired wall composition

The New Dawn Ortus wall art by dBodhi features a composition inspired by nature. Individual pieces from old rice sacks are assembled using repurposed jute fabric. Together, they create a multicoloured surface in which the different textile elements directly contribute to the artwork's design and visual presence.

The composition is stretched over a recycled wood frame painted black, then finished with water-based paint. Measuring 27 x 5 x 37 cm, this piece from the New Dawn collection has a compact format. The combination of wood, jute and rice sack fragments gives the piece a clearly perceptible material identity.
