List of products by brand dBodhi
At dBodhi, wood does not try to erase its past. Reclaimed teak retains the grain, shades and marks that give each surface its character. Tables, sideboards, storage units, seating and lighting combine this material with coconut, abaca, rattan, glass or metal, in a contemporary language shaped in Indonesia. Each family reveals the material in a different way.
A marked plank, regular weaving, a clean line: dBodhi builds its identity through the dialogue between aged material and contemporary design. Founded in 2007 by Raymond Davids, the family brand designs and manufactures its furniture in Indonesia, in its Java studio and with small partner workshops.
Teak as a story of material
The starting point is distinctive. According to dBodhi, its reclaimed teak comes notably from old village houses in East Java. The planks are sorted, cleaned, sanded and then shaped by hand. Their grain, variations in tone and certain signs of use remain visible: these differences are not added decoration, but the material’s own memory.
This presence of wood can be seen in the Dino, Artisan, Linea and Luna tables, as well as in the many Karma, Outline, Tess and Hopper sideboards, cabinets and desks offered in the selection. The active catalogue therefore makes it possible to furnish a living room, office or bedroom without implying that all the brand’s collections are available.
Contrasts that enliven the interior
dBodhi does not stop at solid wood. The Coco family showcases coconut fibre on beds, desks, mirrors and storage units. Caterpillar seating and baskets introduce woven abaca; the Caterpillar bench specifically combines a reclaimed teak frame with a handwoven top. Cymbal, Drum, Bell and Tuba pendant lights extend this tactile work through rattan, abaca or other fibres.
- To structure a room: dining tables, bookcases, sideboards and cabinets with understated volumes.
- To punctuate the space: side tables, benches, baskets, mirrors and decorative objects.
- To soften the light: pendant lights, table lamps and floor lamps with organic textures.
This diversity makes it possible to choose one statement piece or create material echoes between several areas of the home. Before purchasing, it remains useful to review the dimensions, storage functions and stated natural variations: with reclaimed teak, no two surfaces tell exactly the same visual story.
