Julian Teak Garden Coffee Table

Teak at the heart of the outdoor seating area

The Julian coffee table by Sika-Design favours an understated silhouette: a slatted top, clearly defined legs and a crossbar that highlights its construction. Designed for outdoor use, it complements garden armchairs and sofas without drawing attention away from the material.

Its slatted top gives the surface a regular rhythm. The gaps between the slats also accommodate the wood's natural behaviour, allowing it to expand and contract as weather conditions change. This detail is part of the table's design, beyond its visual effect.

A material that evolves outdoors

Julian is made from plantation teak from Indonesia, bearing the “Legal Wood” label, with sourcing regulated by the Indonesian authorities. Its natural oil content contributes to its resistance to outdoor conditions.

The wood gradually changes with exposure to sun and rain, developing a patina over time. This transformation accompanies the table's life in the garden, while its simple lines remain easy to pair with woven seating or other wooden furniture.
