Skaal Lantern 65

A rechargeable solar lantern with adjustable intensity

The Skaal 65 lantern by Les Jardins is made from teak wood with a Duratek finish. It incorporates a lighting unit comprising 12 LED and can be recharged using solar energy or by USB from the mains. Its output is adjustable up to 500 lumens, while a motion detector completes its lighting system.

Depending on the selected intensity, its stated battery life ranges from 6 to 20 hours. The lantern measures 23 x 23 x 65 cm. The Duratek finish is achieved by mechanically stripping the teak, followed by six successive coats designed to give it an aged, grained and greyed appearance. For maintenance, cleaning with soapy water is recommended, while applying oil is not advised.
