Celia Headboard

A design inspired by butterfly wings

The Celia headboard by Sika-Design transforms the wall behind the bed into a composition of curves and openwork lines. Its pattern takes inspiration from butterfly wings: a reference expressed through the arrangement of details and bindings rather than applied decoration.

It is handcrafted from natural Indonesian rattan. Wicker artisans work the bindings onto frames that are also made of rattan. The material thus forms both the structure and the pattern, creating a visual continuity that gives Celia its warm character.

A decorative feature to stand or hang

This headboard can stand or hang behind the bed. It frames the bed and creates a focal point in the bedroom while allowing the wall to remain visible through its open design.

A Danish design, Celia naturally complements a soft Scandinavian interior. Its curves also pair well with understated textiles and furniture with simple lines, allowing the wickerwork to take centre stage.
