Uni 550 Chair

A stackable chair with Italian design

The Uni 550 chair is based on a clean design consisting of a polypropylene seat and a four-legged steel frame. Designed by Francesco Geraci, it expresses a restrained and functional Italian approach. Produced by et al. (Metalmobil), it can be stacked up to eight chairs high, a useful feature for organised storage when the chairs are not in use.

The Uni 550 has proportions suited to a chair: it measures 47 cm wide, 53 cm deep and 79 cm high. Its seat height is 46 cm and it weighs 4,6 kg. The available versions combine different seat and frame finishes, allowing a configuration to be selected according to the project. The balance of polypropylene, steel and stackability defines a chair designed around simple, precise features.
