Salsa bar stool

A seat designed for the counter

The Salsa bar stool, designed by Sika-Design, puts natural Indonesian rattan centre stage. Its antique finish highlights a handcrafted construction in which rattan canes are bound to a frame made from the same material. This handwork gives the seat a structured look without concealing the material.

Its curved seat and footrest define its silhouette. The former shapes the seat, while the latter provides support for the feet when sitting at the counter. The open lines of the structure allow it to complement a bar without the visual effect of a bulky seat.

At home or in a restaurant

Salsa fits into an open-plan kitchen or alongside an indoor bar. It is also suitable for hotel bars and restaurants, where its woven appearance brings a warm texture to the interior.

Its dimensions are 40 cm deep and 46 cm wide, with an overall height of 79 cm. This last measurement refers to the height of the stool, not its seat height.
