An enveloping silhouette on a central base

The Memento HIVE armchair features an enveloping silhouette that visually unites the seat and backrest. Its rounded contours create a seamless form, enhanced by continuous textile upholstery. Athezza pairs these generous lines with a central metal base, whose more compact design contrasts with the curves of the seat. The seat and backrest are padded with polyurethane foam to complement the armchair's overall shape.

Beneath its polyester upholstery, the model incorporates a plywood frame that provides a rigid base for the seat. The padding has the same stated density for both the seat and backrest. The design therefore focuses on a few clearly defined elements: an enveloping seat, a padded backrest and a central metal base. The Memento HIVE armchair showcases a soft yet structured aesthetic characteristic of the Memento collection.
