The Luba stool AAA167 is a unique 20th-century piece originating from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Selected by Versmissen, this wooden seat features a seated female figure. The sculpture is precisely worked to reveal her long dress, intricate hairstyle and the jewellery worn on her ears and around her neck.

The wood features a natural beige finish. With dimensions of 22 x 28 x 47 cm, the stool has a vertical format that highlights the sculpted figure and the details of her adornment. The female figure occupies a central place in the composition and directly connects the seat to the base. This piece reflects the history, art and cultural traditions of the Luba people.
