AAA1533 Lega mask

This model is a Lega wooden mask, originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, dating from the middle of the 20th century. This mask measures 11x22x26 cm. It has a mostly white surface with signs of wear and natural wood imperfections. The mask has a sculpted face with half-closed eyes, pierced nostrils, and thin mouths. It also has several small holes around the contours, which are probably used to attach or wear it.
