An Idimu mask associated with Bwami ceremonies

The Lega Idimu AAA1526 mask presented by Versmissen comes from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and dates from the mid-20th century. It belongs to the tradition of the Bwami cult, in which it was used during ceremonies for members who had attained the highest ranks.
