The Mumuye AAA1295 sculpture offered by Versmissen stands out for its particularly slender vertical construction. Its long, pendulous arms end in spatulate hands, while a prominent navel accentuates the torso. A substantial neck supports a narrow head with a distinctive hairstyle referring to the clan. The ears, distended by earrings, are presented as an attribute reserved for women.

Crafted from natural wood and adorned with beads, this piece measures 17 × 18,5 × 122,5 cm. It is attributed to the sculptor Rati or Molabaiene and dated to the mid-20th century. Originating from Nigeria, it belongs to the tradition of the Mumuye tribe. The elongated limbs, treatment of the head and bodily details create an immediately identifiable female representation.
