AAA90 Dogon sculpture

This Bombou-Toro figure, originally from the Dogon tribe in Mali, is a fine example of African art and culture. This unique piece dates from the middle of the 20th century and measures 20x18x83 cm. The figure is carved from natural wood and represents a hermaphrodite figure. The face is oval and harmonious, with big expressive eyes and a smiling mouth. The hair is carefully styled.
