Sculpture Baule Divination

This Baoulé sculpture in natural wood, 17x16x78 cm, embodies a spiritual husband Blolo bian. Essential in divination, it serves as a bridge with the blolo, the ancestral spiritual world. It symbolizes the intimate and inextricable relationship between the living and the spiritual, governing human existence among the Baoulé of Côte d'Ivoire.
