Baga sculpture

This unique Baga figure embodies all the characteristics of Baga art with its elegance and stylization. The statuette features the same huge head and a large, pronounced curved nose, characteristic of “Nimba” shoulder masks. This type of figure could have been a prototype for Nimba masks. This sculpture measures 22x25x75 cm.
