A crack does not necessarily need correcting. A variation in shade does not have to disappear. DTP Home builds its identity precisely on these traces, brought together under the idea of perfect imperfection. According to the brand, the wood, which is mainly aged and recycled and sourced from Asia, retains its grain and previous marks. Local craftspeople transform it in Asian workshops from designs developed by DTP Home’s design department.

Reading furniture as architecture

The collections often play on a clear contrast: the warmth and mass of wood, dark metal frames, long lines or graphic cross-bracing. Beam favours robust volumes; Criss Cross highlights its structure; Metropole and Cosmo organise extensive storage. Soho borrows industrial references from the New York neighbourhood, from metal staircases to raw materials, while retaining measured details. These identities make it possible to create a consistent room without repeating exactly the same piece of furniture.

Storing, working, entertaining

  • Around the dining area: rectangular, round or oval tables, benches and high tables.
  • For the living room: coffee tables, consoles and freestanding or wall-mounted TV units, depending on the model.
  • Storage: sideboards, cabinets, display cabinets, bookcases, chests of drawers and shelving units.
  • For working: desks and small laptop tables.

The active range at Flosia notably covers Beam, Odeon, Cosmo, Criss Cross, Metropole, Soho, Evo, Scala, Nova, Forte and Apollo. Mineral materials, new curves

Wood does not work alone. On certain products, Mortex is applied by hand; this coating based on minerals, chalk and cement receives a varnished finish after curing. Each surface therefore retains its own structure. The Scala tables explore its mineral tones, while Soho combines it with industrial silhouettes. The selection also includes teak and, in Nova, teak-and-travertine combinations.

Before choosing, it is important to accept that aged wood does not have the uniformity of a printed finish and to check the materials of the exact product. DTP Home does not promise universally recycled wood: the official wording is “mainly recycled”. This precision strengthens rather than weakens the brand’s project, founded on functional furniture where the visible material becomes the main decorative element.
